Spirit Halloween Opens Several Eastern Iowa Locations for 2025

My favorite holiday is right around the corner!

With Party City locations across the country now permanently closed, Spirit Halloween is now one of your only options when it comes to buying Halloween costumes in-store! It may only be August, but several Spirit Halloween locations have already opened here in Eastern Iowa, and we've got all the details!

Iowa Locations

Overall, there are 10 Spirit Halloween stores setting up shop in Iowa in 2025. Here are the locations in the eastern half of the state:

• Cedar Rapids - Former Younkers at Lindale Mall
• Davenport - Former Party City on Elmore Avenue
• Dubuque - Former JOANN Fabric on Dodge Street 
• Iowa City - Former JOANN Fabric on Sycamore Street
• Waterloo - Former JOANN Fabric on Flammang Drive (not yet open)

Store Hours

All the Eastern Iowa Spirit Halloween locations that have already opened for the season have the same hours listed on the company's website:

• Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
• Monday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
