Hyper Energy Bar Has Opened a Second Corridor Location
North Liberty has a new option when it comes to caffeine! Just before Christmas of 2025, Hyper Energy Bar opened a second location in Johnson County!
About Hyper Energy Bar
According to the official website, Hyper Energy Bar is a bit different from your typical coffee shop. It reads:
"While traditional coffee bars simply exist, Hyper Energy Bars® offer an energetic experience that sets us apart. Our hand-crafted coffee and infused energy drinks are designed to keep you energized and hyped throughout the day."
Hyper Energy Bar's menu has more that 100 unique flavor combinations, all made with your choice of a caffeine or Italian soda base (sugar free options are also available). If you prefer coffee, the beverage shop also offers lattes, cold brew, Americanos, and more.
The North Liberty Location
The newest Hyper Energy Bar is located at 1695 Jordan St in North Liberty off of Hwy 965. The Corridor Business Journal reports that the 1,000-square-foot building has not one, but TWO drive-thrus for customers, making it "more accessible" than the other Corridor location.
Hyper Energy Bar in North Liberty held its soft opening on December 19th, and is now open for regular business hours, which are:
- Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Sunday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Other Eastern Iowa Locations
The only other Hyper Energy Bar that we have in Eastern Iowa is the one in Iowa City's Ped Mall, right in between ReUnion Brewery and The Stuffed Olive. An article from the Daily Iowan says that it opened back in November of 2024, and has been a big hit among college students ever since. The publication reports that they see around 500 customers per day, even without a drive-thru!
There are now 13 Hyper Energy Bar locations across Iowa, Nebraska, and Missouri, nine of which are in the Hawkeye State.
