A Unique New Jones County Coffee Shop Showcases Local Creators
Downtown Anamosa has a cool new business to check out this fall. The Dahlia Haus officially opened its doors over the weekend!
About The Dahlia Haus
The Dahlia Haus is a newly-opened coffee shop that's located at 106 E Main St in Anamosa, the former home of Thou Art Gallery. The business' Facebook description reads:
"Old-world elegance. Everyday magic. A haus filled with things you never knew you were looking for. Your permission to drink from the fancy cup. To linger, to wander, and to find beauty simply because beauty makes life better."
The Dahlia Haus is owned by Richelle, a Jones County-native "with a deep love for history and a passion for all things magical, vintage, and whimsical." The name 'The Dahlia Haus' was inspired by Richelle's former miniature dachshund Dahlia!
In addition to serving as a coffee shop with specialty coffee drinks, tea, dirty sodas, and baked goods, The Dahlia Haus is also a shop that showcases handmade items from a number of local vendors and creators. Here are the 10 vendors currently set-up inside of the new business:

Business Hours
The Dahlia Haus held its official grand opening celebration on Saturday, October 2nd during Anamosa's annual Pumpkinfest. It's now open Tuesday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Friday & Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For the latest updates from the new Jones County business, you can follow the Facebook page HERE.
