A Marion Cafe Has Started Offering Dinner Service & Cocktails

About Bistro at Blooms
Back in 2023, Blooms Garden Center in Marion officially opened Bistro at Blooms, a new cafe offering breakfast, lunch, pastries, coffee, and other beverages. Bistro at Blooms is located in the courtyard of the Garden Center at 1440 Blairs Ferry Rd NE, and features indoor dining, as well as outdoor patio seating.
Bistro at Blooms prides itself on its made-from-scratch goodies, which you can find in-house or place a catering order for. The website reads:
"We make all of our own breads, pastries, cakes, pies, and fillings from scratch. We have several gluten free options because we believe everyone should be able to enjoy a meal with us. Our meats are hand-picked, our sausage is mixed fresh in-house, and our coffee is roasted weekly by Iowa Coffee Roasters. Smoothies, espresso, specialty drinks, and more...every sip and bite is made to order with the best ingredients we can find."
The daytime menu at Bistro at Blooms features both breakfast and lunch options, with breakfast served from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Items on the breakfast menu include quiche, breakfast sandwiches, bowls, burritos, omelettes, and pancakes, while the lunch menu offers salads, soups, both cold and hot sandwiches, wraps, and rotating sides. Pastries and sweets, like kolaches, cookies, muffins, cinnamon rolls, scones, and croissants, which also rotate on a daily basis, are available all day.
Dinner Service Information
On June 4th, Bistro at Blooms officially expanded their hours to begin offering dinner and drinks three days a week. The business' Director of Marketing Melody told us:
"Every Thursday through Saturday, Bistro at Blooms transforms into a dinner destination with elevated Italian cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, rotating housemade desserts, and plenty of gluten-free options."
The new dinner menu features appetizers like charcuterie boards, meatballs, and Cajun shrimp, and entrees including salads, sandwiches, beef medallions, salmon, tortellini, and pork loin chops. There's are also rotating dessert options, as well as a full drink menu.
Bistro at Blooms is open Monday through Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. The bar opens at 4 p.m. and dinner service runs from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. For the latest updates from Bistro at Blooms, you can check out the official Facebook page HERE.
