About the North American Nonalcoholic Cup

According to the event's official website, the North American Nonalcoholic Cup (aka NANA Cup) is "a professional, blind-judged competition celebrating the creativity and craftsmanship driving nonalcoholic beverages forward." The 2026 competition was the first of its kind, and there ended up being 109 total entries!

Judging for the NANA Cup took place in Fort Collins, Colorado on May 16th, with the highest-scoring beverages advancing to the Best of Show round. The official awards presentation was held on June 18th.

The Winners

The big winner at the 2026 North American Nonalcoholic Cup was Best Day Brewing, a company based out of Northern California. Their Wild American Pilsner took home double gold in the 'Lager Beer' category, as well as 'Best in Show!'

The only Iowa brewery recognized at the NANA Cup was Big Grove Brewery, which won gold in the 'Hoppy Beer' category for their Zero Eddy NA Hazy IPA. The brewery's website says that they "took the bold tropical aromatics and smooth drinking Easy Eddy and produced it in an N/A version." Easy Eddy is one of Big Grove's most popular beverages, taking home gold at the 2024 Great American Beer Festival. Zero Eddy also won silver in the Hoppy Non-Alcohol Beer category at the 2026 World Beer Cup earlier this year.

99 Iowa Counties, 99 Delicious Iowa Restaurants (LAST UPDATED 6/23/26)

As it turns out, there are great places to eat in ALL of Iowa's 99 counties!

Each of the restaurants selected for this list has a Google rating of 4.5 stars or higher with at least 100 total reviews (when possible... some counties are VERY small!). While some counties only have a handful of places to eat, many have several highly-rated and popular restaurants. This list only shows one per county, so you may want to do your own research before visiting a new area!
