Iowa Has One of the Best Apple Orchards in the US
Fall is prime apple season. It's the perfect time to go apple picking, drink some apple cider, or even make an apple pie. With Iowa being such a hub for agriculture, it makes so sense that one of the best apple orchards in the country is right here.
USA Today recently put out its list of the 10 Best Apple Orchards in the country for 2021. A local orchard made the list of the best of the best this year. To come up with this comprehensive list a panel of experts pick the initial 20 nominees and then the top 10 are decided based on popular vote.

Iowa isn't just home to one of the best apple picking spots in the country, the Hawkeye state has one of the best pumpkin farms.
The travel website Trips to Discover claims that this might be one of the best pumpkin farms in the country; Uncle Bill's Farm.
Uncle Bill's Farm is located in Grinnell near Des Moines. Open during the entire month of October (which is prime jack-o-lantern season) Uncle Bill's has all of your fall festivities covered. The Iowa staple has wagon rides to their pumpkin patch, a corn maze, and even a corn pool!
Deal's Orchard in Jefferson is made up of nearly 45 acres of apple trees. There are more than 25 different apple varieties at the orchard. In addition, Deal's sells tomatoes, sweet corn, pumpkins, holiday gift baskets, homemade pies, honey, etc.
In November, this apple orchard transforms into a holiday hotspot where you can cut down and purchase your own Christmas tree.
