The holiday season is a great time for a festive tea party!

The Grout Museum District’s Snowden House, 306 Washington Street, will be hosting themed teas, second Saturday of every month, at 10AM through July 2020.

Each tea party will include crafts and activities that coincide with the theme, as well as treats and a classic low tea.

This Saturday, December 14, 2019: International Winter Holidays Tea Party
Take a trip around the world at the Grout Museum District's Snowden House! Learn about the history of different holiday season celebrations including Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Omisoka, and Boxing Day. Play traditional games such as dreidel, weave a Kwanzaa mat, and uncover the history of Christmas trees while sharing your own family traditions and enjoying new foods in this low tea.

February 8, 2020: Remember the Ladies Tea
March 14, 2020: St. Patrick’s Irish History Tea
April 11, 2020: Victorian Easter Tea
May 9, 2020: Celebrating Mother Earth Tea
June 13, 2020: Neverland Tea
July 11, 2020: A Tea Where the Wild Things Are
