At work on a new album, Hunter Hayes has debuted the music video for his song “Amen.” Readers can press play above to watch.

Hayes hasn’t released an album since 2015, but he’s at work on a followup to that November's The 21 Project in Nashville. The artist debuted “Amen” for his patiently-waiting fans late last year, and the song's newly released video provides a glimpse into Hayes' life over the past few years.

Since arriving on the country music scene in 2011, Hayes has largely spent his days out on the road. As such, his "Amen" music video features plenty of shots of the singer-songwriter interacting with his fans, preparing to take the stage and performing to huge crowds at venues and festivals.

Hayes doesn’t have a release date for his fourth studio album just yet. “Amen” is part of a trio of songs that he released back in 2016; the other two songs are “Yesterday’s Song” and “Young Blood.” The three tracks indicate that Hayes is pursuing a broader sound thanks to influences from gospel, rock and, of course, pop-country.

Hayes' fans can stay up to date with his goings-on and upcoming tour stops on HunterHayes.com.
