[EXCLUSIVE] Mitchell Tenpenny Says Midwest Show Is One You Don’t Want To Miss
Mitchell Tenpenny is back on the road again for his To Us It Did Tour which will be making several stops throughout the Midwest. For many people, Mitchell Tenpenny might be the first artist they see back in well over a year a half. The country star is taking that responsibility very seriously.

"I want people to be able to get back and enjoy themselves again," Tenpenny explains.
After the pandemic shut the world down, the singer is incredibly eager to get back to putting on shows and seeing the crowds of fans again.
"We're going to make sure that we take full advantage of that. We're going to party, we're going to have a great time."
Since the singer was last out on the road, he collaborated with Chris Young on the latter's album "Famous Friends" on a song called "At the End of the Bar."
Tenpenny fondly remembers how that collaboration started with a snowstorm during quarantine. The two artists were meant to get together that day and write anyway, but the 'Truth About You' singer admits he was going a bit crazy with the "snow apocalypse."
He called up Chris Young and told him that he needed to get out and do something.
Young apparently replied with, "Buddy, I've got the four-wheel drive! Let's go!"
They stopped at a bar and the rest is history.
Besides a Chris Young collaboration, he also has been working more with his wife, Canadian country star Meghan Patrick. The duo decided to come together for Tenpenny's recently released Christmas album, "Naughty List" this year.
The couple wrote and recorded the song together. Usually, Tenpenny admits that when they are together under the same roof, the couple sticks to a quiet evening in with their dogs. Collaborating on this song was a different yet very positive experience for the two stars.
"I was worried for a minute, I was like, are we going to get into an argument while we're songwriting?" the singer jokes.
While there are plans for the duo to collaborate in the future, you probably won't be seeing her on tour with him this time around, the star admitted. Mitchell Tenpenny will be performing in Moline on Friday, November 12th. He'll be taking to the stage at the Rust Belt with Monica Austin.
