Waterloo Welcomes New Family-Owned Steakhouse
A new restaurant is opening up very soon in Waterloo.
Elena's Steakhouse & Bar is a family-owned restaurant with a menu that "showcases the finest quality and flavor."
Located at 126 E Ridgeway Ave in Waterloo, this new business is run by the Sanchez family, according to the eatery's website.
"Experience the perfect fusion of comfort, flavor, and hospitality at Elena's Steakhouse & Bar as we continue to weave our delicious story into the vibrant tapestry of Waterloo's culinary landscape."
What's On the Menu?
Elena's will be serving up "sizzling, hand-cut steaks to expertly crafted cocktails" along with some delicious sounding appetizers.
They'll be serving up flatbreads, prime rib, fettuccini alfredo, as well as skewered grilled shrimp. For the full menu, make sure to check out their website here.
When Will They Be Opening Up?
It seems like the opening date is sooner rather than later. Elena's Steakhouse & Bar will open for business on Monday, July 29th. Doors will open at 4:00 PM, and you can check out more information about their grand opening here.

What Used to Be in that Building?
This location used to be the home of the Bosnian restaurant Mersims.
News came out in mid-March that the restaurant would be closing its doors for good.
