Eastern Iowa’s Shoot 360 Location Has Been An Instant Success
Shoot 360, located in Hiawatha, has been up and running for 3 months. If you've never heard of the facility, it's a basketball gymnasium like you've never seen before. In only 3 months, the gym has reached up to half its capacity for gym members. One of the reasons for the gym being an instant success might have to do with Shoot 360's use of technology added to basketball training.
According to KCRG, Shoot 360's use of technology has been a massive success with the kids who train at the facility.
It wasn't always easy for Shoot 360. Jeremy Gomez is the owner and it took over a year and a half for Jeremy and the rest of the Gomez family, to get Shoot 360 up and running. Jeremy said he enjoys seeing Shoot 360's members progress. He told KCRG,
The passion I’ve had for basketball since I was little, kind of drove this whole thing. The stories from the parents, about the kids and how they’ve progressed, we can see it here. The kids are getting better each day, each time they come in, so that’s definitely been the best part of it.
The capacity at the facility is about 400 and in its early stages of existence, there are already 200 members signed up. Nash Preston is a 12-year-old and he was one of Shoot 360's first members. He told KCRG, it's almost like training with a video game.
It’s kind of like a video game, but in a training way because you get a lot of rewards. It’s a lot of fun. I like it.
Shoot 360 is located in Hiawatha, Iowa, at 1790 Robins Rd. They are open Monday-Friday from 3 pm to 9 pm, Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm, and Sunday from 12 pm to 7 pm.
Shoot 360 only Iowa location is currently in Hiawatha but with the immediate success, it wouldn't be surprising to possibly see more of these facilities show up in other cities in the state of Iowa.
