A Dunkerton woman was sent to an area hospital Wednesday following a single-vehicle accident in Black Hawk County.

Stephanie Rygel, 45, suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash, sheriff's officials said. They did not release her condition.

Sheriff's officials said Rygel hit a pitch of icy pavement and lost control of her Chevy Tahoe. The SUV entered a ditch and rolled at least one time.

The accident happened just after 8 AM Wednesday on County Road C-66 (Dunkerton Road) near the intersection with U.S. Highway 63, north of Waterloo.
