Californians Moving To Iowa Are In For A Rude Surprise
Why on Earth would someone move to Iowa? Well... strong agricultural sector, friendly communities, and relatively low cost of living, making it an attractive place for families and those seeking a Midwestern lifestyle. I stole that from here, but it brings up good points! Many are leaving big city life for small towns.
There are some things someone would need to get used to after moving to a smaller area. Some of the things are good, like less traffic. which is somthing we all love to see... unless there is road work. Then it gets bad.
Another great thing is that the noise pollution is lower—unless you live by train tracks, in which case you might disagree. There is also so much beauty here.
