Say the name Bob Saget, and one thing comes to mind. Full House. Or if you're a bit younger, the Netflix spinoff Fuller House. Saget became a household name on the ABC sitcom but his true fans already knew Saget from his longtime standup comedy career.

Saget is bringing his comedy act to the Diamond Jo Casino in Dubuque this May. He'll perform two shows on May 1st at the Mississippi Moon Bar at 7 p.m and 9:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale on February 21st at 10 a.m.

Before hitting it big on Full House in the late 1980s, Saget spent perfected his comedy act touring the clubs on the comedy circuit in Los Angeles. He landed the role of Danny Tanner in 1987, and also spent a decade as the host of America's Funniest Home Videos. After departing from TV, Saget returned to standup and became one of the most sought after comedians in the industry.
