On the touring front, Luke kicks off his That's My Kind of Night tour Thursday night in Columbus, OH. Lee Brice and Cole Swindell are also on the bill.

Caffeine Enhances Memory:
Another reason to drink coffee. That morning cup of java or lunchtime soda might serve a purpose beyond giving you a jolt of energy. According to a new study by researchers at Johns Hopkins University, caffeine enhances memory.

We're not sure it helps with our memories, but we know it keeps us awake at work - and in turn not fired.

Norm Parker, of Iowa City, IA, died on January 13, 2014 at the University of Iowa Hospital. He was 72. Norm was born on October 9, 1941 in Detroit to George E. & Margery F. (Stone) Parker.

A Pimp Sues Nike for $100 Million Because Its Sneakers Are Weapons:
A pimp from Portland, Oregon who is serving 100 years in jail for bludgeoning a john with a pair of Jordans, is suing Nike for $100 million, claiming the sneaker company failed to disclose its shoes could be used as a dangerous weapon. Sirgiorgiro Clardy, 26, argues Nike should have placed a label in the shoes. In 2012, he was wearing Jordans when he attacked a man for trying to leave a hotel without paying a prostitute.

His Claim ...

Under product liability there is a certain standard of care that is required to be up-held by potentially dangerous product….Do (sic) to the fact that these defendants named in this Tort claim failed to warn of risk or to provide an adequate warning or instruction it has caused personal injury in the likes of mental suffering.”
