New releases have a habit of floundering in January, which tends to be one of Hollywood’s biggest dumping grounds. Taylor Swift Had Highest-Grossing North American Tour of 2013:
Taylor Swift‘s Red Tour was one of the best-selling global tours of 2013, landing at No. 8 on a year-end tally. However, in North America alone, the trek was the most successful tour of the year, hands down. Swift and her Red Tour landed at No. 1 on the Top 100 Tours of North America, as reported by Pollstar. In the U.S. and Canada, the tour raked in $112.7 million, beating out rockers Bon Jovi by a few million bucks in receipts. Interestingly enough, Bon Jovi landed at No. 1 on the global tour list on which Swift placed eighth.

NASCAR'S Famous #3 Back On Top At Daytona: (Video)
NASCAR Preseason Thunder took place last week for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. The Daytona International Speedway hosted three days of testing as teams gear up for the 2014 running of the Daytona 500. Richard Childress Racing driver Austin Dillon planted the historic No. 3 atop the speed charts on the first and only day of NASCAR Sprint Cup Series testing at the World Center of Racing. His 195.109 mph led all drivers in single-car runs during this tune-up for the 56th running of the Daytona 500 (Feb. 23, 1p.m. on FOX).
