Black Hawks At Home Monday & New Year’s Eve-Limited Tickets On Sale
All the Waterloo Black Hawks want for Christmas is to build on the momentum of a 5-2 victory over Sioux Falls last weekend. The team heads to Sioux City this Saturday, and then returns home for two "holiday break" games next week in Young Arena.
The team announced in a press release, that limited single-game tickets for Monday night's game versus the Lincoln Stars and the New Year’s Eve home game versus the Des Moines Buccaneers will go on sale this Sunday morning, December 27th at 8am. Monday night's game starts at 7:05 and the game on New Year's eve starts an hour earlier at 6:05. Doors will open one hour ahead of the respective puck drop times.
As was the case for home games on December 11th and 12th, several dozen seats are available for non-season ticket holders. These are first-come, first serve and can be purchased exclusively on-line at tickets.waterlooblackhawks.com. The team is encouraging electronic ticketing this season as part of the Young Arena COVID-19 Readiness Plan, which can be reviewed here. Among its information, fans are reminded that face coverings are required to attend Black Hawks games.
New Black Hawks Join The Team
Two Waterloo players made their organizational debuts last Friday in Omaha. Sixteen-year-old Owen Baker was the 35th overall pick during Phase I of the 2020 USHL Draft. Baker is the youngest Black Hawk of 2020/21. Meanwhile, defenseman David Gucciardi was acquired from the Youngstown Phantoms. The Black Hawks are his fourth USHL club.
