Barrel House Has Opened Another Location in the Corridor
A popular local restaurant chain is continuing to expand! Thanks to a new article from the Iowa City Press Citizen, we now know that Barrel House has officially opened its third location here in the Corridor!
On August 4th, Barrel House Food & Spirits opened its doors at 3230 Redhawk Street in Coralville. If you're familiar with Barrel House's other locations, then the new Coralville one should feel pretty familiar. The Facebook page says:
"Come enjoy food that lifts your spirits with us. Our menu features juicy burgers, fresh salads, sandwiches, wraps, pizza, and more. Or enjoy our Red Bull cocktails, Island Time Wheat house beer, or anyone of our signature drinks!"
The Island Time Wheat beer is one of the two Barrel House exclusive craft beers available at the Coralville location. The other is called Hippy Sour, and both were brewed over in Moline. According to the article from the Iowa Press Citizen, the restaurant also plans to keep other local beers on tap. Happy Hour will run weekdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and will feature half-price drafts.
The Coralville Barrel House is the 6th location for the restaurant here in Iowa, but the 7th overall. Other locations include:
- 211 E 2nd Street, Davenport
- 5141 Utica Ridge Road, Davenport
- 299 Main Street, Dubuque
- 102 2nd Street SE, Cedar Rapids
- 295 Tower Terrace Road, Marion
- 9 Brickyard Drive, Bloomington, IL
The new restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. To check out the full menu or place an order online, you can download the free Barrel House app.
