I was born and raised on the east coast where my family operated a dairy. I ventured west to Utah State University where I graduated with degrees in agricultural communications, broadcast journalism, and political science. I've also done social media work for the National Association of Farm Broadcasting (NAFB), and have a younger sister in college attending Iowa State University.
