The Northeast Iowa Food Bank is asking the Facebook community to vote online to help win a portion of a $50,000 grant to feed hungry families in Northeast Iowa.

Through the Community Aces Challenge, you can participate in an online voting campaign at www.communityaceschallenge.com or www.facebook.com/IsleofCapriCasinos to help determine the winner of funding awards from the Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. You need a Facebook account to vote.

Winning organizations will be determined based on the number of votes received in the Community Aces Facebook voting campaign. Four charitable organizations out of 150 will be selected to receive a portion of a $50,000 funding award to support their organization. The Northeast Iowa Food Bank has been chosen to be part of the vote.

“We really need the community to rally to help us garner votes for this very competitive grant opportunity.” -  Executive Director, Barbara Prather
