Seven Acts Revealed for 2023 County Line Country Fest
The announcements of country concerts have really been ramping up lately but this is one of the biggest of all because it's not one day, it's three!
It's the second year for the County Line Country Fest in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, and here's who you can expect to see on stage during the summer of 2023.
This year's event is held Thursday through Saturday, August 3 through 5, and although we don't know the full lineup yet, we do know seven of the performers for next year's festival.
It all begins, or should I say ends, on Thursday with new dad Scotty McCreery as the headline act. Since winning American Idol in the spring of 2011, he's blossomed into a country star that already had adoring fans, thanks to the television show. He's gained a whole lot more of them in the last 11 years.
McCreery has enjoyed a series of big hits including "This Is It", which he wrote just prior to proposing to his now wife, Gabi. Other hits include "Five More Minutes", "You Time", "See You Tonight", "In Between", and "Damn Strait".
Also performing on Thursday is a man who was one of country music's big hitmakers in the 1990s whose catalog of hits has kept him busy on tour for nearly 30 years. Tracy Byrd is making his way to Prairie du Chien in 2023.
A third act has been revealed for Thursday. He's a Nashville-based artist with a very busy schedule in Music City. Cory Farley will appear on August 3.
On Friday, August 4, the headliner is Hardy. The 2022 ACM Songwriter of the Year, Hardy has written a dozen songs that have gone to number one... in the last five years!
The other act announced for Friday always brings a high-energy, fun time to the stage... The Cadillac Three.
On Saturday, Jordan Davis will headline the day's music. An artist who's already scored four number one songs over the course of only about five years, Davis is poised to become a country superstar.
Davis has also proven he's a solid songwriter having co-written all four of his chart toppers, including "Buy Dirt", his duet with Luke Bryan. The song was awarded CMA Awards Song of the Year at the November 9 CMA Awards. The award, given to songwriters, went to Jordan, his brother Jacob, and Josh and Matt Jenkins. The two sets of brothers wrote the song.
There's your lineup as of today, with more artists to be announced. Tickets and camping are on sale now. More details are available here. Please note, prices increase on Monday, November 14.
