On Monday, May 22nd the team behind the Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center announced their 2023/2024 season lineup. Every single year it seems like the shows keep getting better and better (at least in my opinion).

One of the biggest and most popular shows to come to the Gallagher Bluedorn this season was the Tony Award winning musical Book of Mormon. For the upcoming stretch of shows, venue officials look like they are bringing in a whole lot more Broadway shows. The performances don't stop at just musicals by the way!

The Gallagher-Bluedorn is bringing in comedians, country artists, and other amazing shows to Cedar Falls.

Here is a full list of all of the shows that will be going on at the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center during the 2023/2024 season...

Kevin James~ The Irregardless Tour

September 22nd, 2023 @ 7:30 PM

You might know the comedian best from his work on the hit sitcom 'King of Queens' or you might remember him as the hilarious mall cop Paul Blart. Either way, James is back on the road again for 'The Irregardless Tour' and he will be making several additional Midwest stops this year besides the Cedar Falls date.

Reza Live

Saturday, September 23rd @ 7:00 PM

Reza is an illusionist who has traveled the globe with his Las Vegas style show. He's recently appeared on A&E’s Duck Dynasty and The CW’s Penn & Teller : Fool Us.

His new show 'Edge of Illusion' is described as a marriage of  "Las Vegas caliber production with the most incredible cutting-edge magic in existence today."

LeAnn Rimes

September 30th @ 7:00 PM

The country singer actually was supposed to perform in Iowa last year for a Christmas show. However, due to a medical condition she had to cancel several shows including one in Iowa. This show is not the rescheduled concert, but that Dubuque show is taking place just a few days before her appearance in Iowa.

Hotel California "A Salute to the Eagles"

October 13th @ 7:00 PM

Fun fact: this tribute group is the only act of its kind to receive the Official Authorization” sign off to perform the Eagles catalog of music.

The President's Own United States Marine Band

October 14th @ 7:30 PM

The Marine Band is officially the oldest continuously active professional musical organization in the United States, and has performed for every single President since John Adams in the late 1700s.Their Cedar Falls stop is a part of the group's  U.S. Marine Band Concert Tour to the Midwest this year.

Tom Papa

November 3rd @ 7:00 PM

Papa has five Netflix stand up specials and a decades long career spanning film, TV, radio and podcasts. He's written two books entitled Your Dad Stole My Rake: And Other Family Dilemmas and You’re Doing Great! - And Other Reasons To Stay Alive.

Annie

November 4th @ 7:30 PM

The beloved musical has garnered seven Tony Awards over its decade's long life. Since 1983, the story of a young orphan named Annie has been performed more than 2,000 times.

Mean Girls

November 17th @ 7:00 PM 17, 2023
November 18th @ 2:00 PM & 7:00 PM
On Wednesdays we wear pink, but during one weekend in November we'll be heading to the Gallagher Bluedorn. The cult classic movie has been reimagined as a pop musical theater performance. With a book written by Tina Fey herself, this musical is trying to make fetch happen...and actually succeeding.

Celtic Woman Christmas

December 7th @ 7:00 PM

A great and festive show to check out this holiday season. This group's music selection consists of a vast variety of Irish classics and contemporary songs.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy

December 15th @ 7:00 PM

Another great holiday show in store for Cedar Falls residents and travelers! Big Bad Voodoo Daddy has sold out massive venues like Lincoln Center and the Hollywood Bowl. The group's mission is to revitalize the jazz and swing musical scene.

 Sons of Serendip

January 19th @ 7:00 PM

You might remember this Billboard charting group from their time on the hit talent competition show 'America's Got Talent' with some of their unique and moving renditions of pop songs.

They've collaborated with acts like the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra, the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and Cynthia Erivo. After four albums, the group doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon.

Come From Away

February 9th @ 7:00 Pm

February 10th @ 2:00 PM & 7:00 PM

If I can be honest, this is the show I'm looking forward to seeing the most. This seven-time Tony Award nominated musical recounts the true story of 7,000 airplane passengers that get stranded in Newfoundland.
It'll make you laugh, it will make you cry...it'll make you feel all of the emotions.

Tickets for all of these shows go on sale on June 20th at 10:00 AM. For more ticket information make sure to go to the venue's website right here.
